Arguments are anything but black-and-white binaries.  Yet we often teach contemporary issues in terms of 'pro' and 'con', 'for' and 'against.'  This is the dangerous sort of language that fuels polarization, y'all!  So use the handout as a jumping-off point for developing more nuanced perspectives!
